The God Question: The Project
Propaganda is the scourge of free-thinking. To the western mind, manipulation is anathema. In trying to establish the truth about God,
it can be very difficult to find a clear and balanced route to a carefully thought out conclusion. The new series of programmes produced for Search for Truth Enterprises Ltd should offer just such a pathway.
For this crucially important production, Search for Truth turned to award-winning film and television company, Kharis Productions Ltd. The brief was:
• To ask the big questions of our time in relation to science and God
• To seek answers by engaging with world-class contributors best placed to respond
• To ensure those contributors represent a wide range of views positively and negatively on the existence of God
• To find and communicate the best evidence for and against the existence of God
• To present the answers in contemporarily styled programmes
• To provide viewers with an open opportunity to assess and find the truth about God for themselves
The Trustees of the Search for Truth Charitable Trust – the ultimate sponsor of the series – are committed to a non-advocational approach.
The programmes are intended both for people of faith and non faith.
Eventually, The God Question will comprise 5 programmes focusing on themes where there are major questions to be asked about God. Programmes 1 to 3 have been released in Autumn 2013.
The production schedule for programmes 4 and 5 has yet to be announced

"The God Question is a real search for truth. It cares nothing for trying to justify something you've always believed in.
It is nothing if it is not honest and bold."
Professor John Spence
Chairman, Search for Truth Charitable Trust
